Mechanical straightening of fine steel bars
Class 1 round steel bars are generally straightened by a hoist.
Using a hoist to straighten steel bars can establish an automatic production line with a high degree of mechanization. For example, the continuous operation of steel bar loading, opening, straightening, cutting and other processes can reduce the number of operators, improve labor production efficiency, and combine the three processes of straightening, rust removal, and cutting to complete in one operation. Therefore, it has been widely used in steel bar processing.
The operating procedure for straightening steel bars with a winch is:
Clamp one end of the round steel bar installed on the turret into the clamp of the electric traction trolley on the horse frame, and start the traction trolley. When the traction trolley reaches the limit switch at the end of the carriage, stop the traction, cut off the steel bar, and clamp the two ends of the steel bar into the ground anchor clamp and the tension trolley clamp respectively. Then start the hoist to straighten the steel bar, and the stretch rate is controlled within 1%. For Class I round steel bars with a diameter of 6-9 mm, it can also be straightened by a Rebar Straightening Machine.
A resistance wheel device is added in front of the Rebar Straightening Machine, and the motor drives the roller to forcefully cold-draw the steel bars, and then connected to the Rebar Straightening Machine for processing. In this way, the four processes of cold drawing, descaling, straightening and cutting are linked and the labor productivity is improved.
