The hydraulic round bar bending machine utilizes the pressure generated by the hydraulic system to drive its bending components. Thanks to the smooth hydraulic transmission, it operates with minimal vibration and achieves relatively high bending accuracy, which can be controlled within approximately ±1°. Additionally, the hydraulic system is equipped with an overload protection function. When the bending resistance becomes excessive, it automatically unloads, effectively safeguarding the equipment. However, the hydraulic system demands high cleanliness of the hydraulic oil. Contamination of the oil can readily lead to system failures, resulting in relatively high equipment maintenance costs. Moreover, it produces a certain level of noise during operation.​

However, CNC round bar bending machines come with a high price tag and demand a high level of technical proficiency and programming skills from operators.​
