The steel bar cutting machine should be selected reasonably according to the workpiece material, tool material, processing method, processing requirements, machine tool type, cutting fluid used for processing metal circular saws, etc.
1. Please choose according to the material of the work
Rebar cutters require cutting fluids to cut plastics such as steel. Cutting fluids such as cast iron can be used without using cutting fluids. When cutting difficult-to-cut materials, the rebar cutter should use extreme pressure cutting oil or extreme pressure emulsion. Sulfur cannot be used when cutting metallic steel and its alloys due to its corrosive nature. When cutting magnesium alloys, do not use water-based cutting fluids to avoid burns.
2. Select the material with a knife
Since rebar cutters use high-speed steel tools with lower thermal stiffness, cutting fluids are often required. Generally speaking, carbide tools do not use cutting fluids. Rebar cutters can use low-concentration emulsions or synthetic cutting fluids if desired, but must be filled before the tool comes into contact with the workpiece. In addition, the steel bar cutting machine should be poured continuously and thoroughly to prevent the blade from being uneven due to heat and cold. Greater internal stress can lead to cracks.
3. Please choose according to the processing method
(1) When the steel bar cutting machine performs operations such as drilling (especially deep holes), reaming, tapping, and broaching, there will be a lot of friction between the tool and the processing surface. Use emulsion, extreme pressure emulsion, extreme pressure cutting oil and pour off completely.
(2) When thread cutting tools are used in the steel bar cutting machine, gear cutting tools and forming tools are required for cutting, extreme pressure cutting oil, vulcanized cutting oil, etc. Rebar cutter grinding produces a large amount of fines and falling abrasive particles. This can easily clog the grindstone and burn the workpiece. Cutting fluids such as synthetic cutting fluids and low-concentration emulsions must be used.
(3) When the steel bar cutting machine grinds stainless steel or superalloy, choose extreme pressure synthetic cutting fluid and extreme pressure emulsion with excellent lubricity.
4. Select according to processing requirements
When the steel bar cutter is roughing, due to the large amount of metal to be removed and the high cutting temperature, it is necessary to use a cutting fluid with a cooling effect. Use extreme pressure cutting fluid with high lubricating effect when finishing steel bar cutting machine.
