1. Personal protective equipment

2. Equipment installation and stability
Solid and stable installation: ensure that the portable steel bar bending machine is in a solid and stable state during installation and maintains a horizontal position. Fixed machinery should have a reliable foundation, and mobile machinery should wed the walking wheels during operation to prevent the machine from moving or tipping over during operation.
Special processing shed: When working outdoors, a special processing shed should be set up to provide shelter and protection to reduce the impact of environmental factors on the operation.

 

3. Safety control during operation
Raw material stacking: set up a stacking site for raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products next to the machine to keep the operation area clean and orderly.
Special person to help: When processing longer steel bars, special person to help and follow the instructions of the operator. Do not push, pull or drag at will to prevent the steel bars from getting out of control or injuring people.
Selection of mandrel and forming shaft: According to the requirements of the diameter and bending radius of the processed steel bars, install the mandrel, forming shaft and iron stop shaft of corresponding specifications. Ensure that the mandrel diameter matches the steel bar diameter (such as the mandrel diameter should be 2.5 times the steel bar diameter), and the diameter and strength of the iron stop shaft are not less than the diameter and strength of the bent steel bar.
No-load operation inspection: Before operation, check and confirm that the mandrel, iron stop shaft, turntable, etc. have no cracks and damage, the protective cover is vertically fixed and reliable, and the no-load operation can be operated only after normal.
Operation specification: During operation, the end of the steel bar to be bent should be inserted into the gap of the turntable fixing pin, and the other end should be close to the machine body fixing pin and pressed by hand. After checking the machine body fixing pin and confirming that it is placed on the side that blocks the steel bar, the machine can be started. It is strictly forbidden to replace the shaft core, pins, change the angle and adjust the speed during the operation, and it is also forbidden to clean and refuel.

4. Safety requirements in specific situations
Handling of oversized steel bars: It is strictly forbidden to bend steel bars that exceed the diameter specified on the machine nameplate. When bending steel bars that have not been cold-drawn or have rust, protective glasses should be worn to prevent splashing objects from hurting the eyes.
Handling of high-strength steel bars: When bending high-strength or low-alloy steel bars, the maximum allowable diameter should be converted according to the provisions of the machine nameplate, and the corresponding mandrel should be replaced to adapt to its physical properties.
It is strictly forbidden to stand within the operating radius: It is strictly forbidden to stand within the operating radius of the bent steel bars and on the side of the machine body without a fixed pin to prevent injuries caused by the ejection of steel bars or the movement of machine parts.
Cleanup and maintenance after operation: After the operation, the rust, debris, etc. in the turntable and the insertion seat hole should be removed in time, and the power supply should be cut off, the switch box should be locked, and lubrication and maintenance should be done to ensure the long-term stable operation and safety of the machine.
