Precautions for correct use of portable rebar cutter:
1. The reinforcement shall be placed flat and to the bottom, with an included angle of 90 degrees with the blade. If the reinforcement is placed obliquely or tilted and not laid flat for cutting, it is easy to cause deformation of knife shaft and knife rest, cracking of knife rest and blade, and then lead to machine failure.
2. There is a big screw on the side of the tool holder, which is used to adjust and position when cutting reinforcement of different thickness and fix the reinforcement. For example, when using rc25 reinforcement cutter to cut 20mm reinforcement, it is necessary to adjust this screw to fix the reinforcement.
3. Release the switch after completing a cut-off operation. Never keep pressing the switch. If you keep pressing the switch, the machine will run continuously, and the pump will get hot quickly, resulting in machine failure.
4. When the machine is cut off for dozens of times and it is found that the pump body starts to burn, be sure to stop the machine for rest and cooling, and continue to use it after the pump body is cooled. If you continue to cut off when the pump body is hot, the cutting will be weak, which will easily lead to the burning of the stator and rotor of the machine, the damage of internal accessories of the pump body and other faults.
5. When the machine is used for a period of time, pay attention to regular cleaning and maintenance. In particular, after continuous cutting work under the knife shaft, there will be some iron filings and impurities, which must be cleaned in time. If not cleaned in time, these impurities are easy to be brought into the machine, resulting in the damage of the seal inside and the failure of the machine.
6. One side of the blade of the machine can be cut off 700-800 times. When the cutting reaches a certain number of times, if the blade is found to be blunt, it must be replaced with a new blade in time (it can be used on another side first, and the blade needs to be replaced after both sides of the blade are replaced). If the blade is still used after being blunt, it will cause the machine to be stressed, which is easy to cause machine failure.
